My Europe - Moldova
My Europe / Mein Europa
'My Europe' is an interactive digital series of events that invites its guests to discover Europe.
How does it work? It's simple: We talk to young people from various countries about Europe and their personal topics of interest. The topics are as diverse as the speakers and can range from current political and social developments through culture and science to one's own commitment to greater tolerance or solidarity. In addition to the given topic, all participants can also vote live on other topics and ask questions on the evening itself.
On 25 October, Anastasia Pociumban will take the audience on a virtual journey to Moldova
Anastasia Pociumban joined DGAP in April 2022 as a research fellow and project manager of the Think Tank Network on the Eastern Partnership in the Center for Order and Governance in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). Her work focuses on EU enlargement and the EU’s relations with its eastern neighbors, as well as the foreign policy of the countries of the Eastern Partnership. Her expertise spans topics that include democratization and local governance and civil society in Eastern Europe and Russia.
Additionally, she is one of the co-founders and a member of the communications team of the Brussels Binder, a platform that promotes women’s voices in policy-making.
Anastasia will introduce the audience to this rather unknown country in Eastern Europe. The guests will get to know fun facts and the culture. The speaker will also discuss Moldova's relationship with the EU and explain its current candidate status.
The moderator is Henri Schlund, freelance journalist.
